2009 SHOWS / RESULTS

 

We have had another fantastic year at the Lyndongraey cattery with the following achievements : George was shown twice this year, his first show he was nominated and won Best in Show Neuter his second show he was awarded Prize of Honour, I am hoping he will acheive one more Best In Show next year as this will give him a new title, watch this space! ~~~ Magic's second year of showing went really well, she became a Champion with FB and with the GCCF and is well on her way to becoming an International Champion with FB. She also gave me her first litter and the next generation of Lyndongraey Maine Coons, with the lovely Boots. ~~~ We decided to retire our lovely home grown European Champion Lyndongraey My Fair Lady (Peaches) from the show ring and had her spayed as she has given us some lovely kittens over the years but now needs to enjoy life without being a mum - she can of course be granny to all the new babies in the future. ~~~ This year we also decided to rehome 3 of our retired breeding girls, Willow, Erin and Cicada so I wish them all well in their new homes and thank you to Jason and Helen for giving them new homes - enjoy your first Christmas together. ~~~ Bailey, well what can I say about him, he had a really rough start as a kitten but has blossomed into a really handsome boy. He has been shown beautifully by Heather (his mum) and has achieved two new titles, he is now FB & GCCF Champion Lyndongraey The Survivor. He has now been neutered and will hopefully come out and gain some more new titles next year. I would like to say a big thank you to all the judges who thought so highly of all my cats ~~~ We also had some very sad news this year as we had to say goodbye to our very first Maine Coon, Merlin (European Champion Kassaro Texussilver) just short of his 10th birthday. I know that he is looking down on us all (especailly his best friend, George) in perfect health and chasing those butterflies with Vassiliy - god bless you both xxx ~~~ We also had sad news about Chilli who was our first breeding queen who we rehomed 4.5 years ago with Natayla, she past away in August 2009, another star in heaven - sleep tight little princess !!
