Ryu
& Lamia have now
joined Nicolas and
Claire @ November
2012 - Here is the
first update on Ryu
& Lamia
"We have had
some wonderful time
with Lamia and Ryu
so far, and they seem
to be fairly happy
with us :-). They
are wonderful, and
are so full of energy!
Ryu is very cuddly
and vocal. Lamia is
a bit more cautious,
but she becomes very
charming and cuddly
when she feels it
is the right time
for her. They will
constantly stay with
us, if not just right
alongside us… and
now half my desk space
is dedicated to them.
Both are very playful,
and they play wonderfully
well together… their
“fights” are very
balanced, and they
both take the initiative,
which looks really
nice."

Maureen's next update - Well it's lovely to see the sun again but it has been too hot sometimes and Billy doesn't like it at all with his beautiful fur coat. I still take him to Mum's lovely harden and he is used to is now so I let him have a roam around. There are lots of mature shrubs and she has garden on all three sides so it feels quite safe, and he never wants to go too far from my side. I took him to the vet recently to get his nails clipped as was refusing to let me do it - and he weighs in at just over 4kg now. He eats well and is healthy. At some point I would love billy to have a companion to play with. He still loves his cat tree and has taken to laying on the ledge part of it now that the weather is warmer, the top basket is an excellent curling up place in the cooler weather. I haven't had much luck in getting a good picture of him in the garden as he moves too fast, but I've attached one I managed to take and a few other. I love the one of his sitting upright, one of his favourite postures - he looks like a cuddly toy!
Billy and I are doing well, he grows bigger every day and is quite a weight now when he asks for a cuddle and perches on my shoulder. He is such a beautiful boy I can't imagine not having him in my life! |

Simba
has now joined Hannah
& Jon and their
other Siberian Purdicus

He is such a wonderful addition to our houseole, and he and our other cat became fast friends very quickly. It only took the first night for them to get over the jitters of a new house and a new cat and since then they have got on famously. Simba is growing up a lot now, is a right mischief maker which is adorable, he is very loving and loyal wee thing. His favourite things are flowers and potplants and his favourite acitivity is playing fetch with a toy bird. Bless him.

@ December 2013 - Her first Christmas, she has developed a new passion for plactic bags and always "helps" to unpack our shopping. She will try to nest even in the tiniest of little bags and let's face it, she is way too big now to fit into those !
We had our first Christmas with her and as you can see she loved the docorations. At first she just played with a few baubles and bells, but then she realised that she can easily climb the tree. I think she planned to have a nap in there!! |

on - we have had to
pad our headboard as
it is leather and he
likes to climb! He also
leaps through the air
which is rather funny
to watch - no wiggling
of the hips just a leap
into the air and landing
forward a couple of
feet!
But he is a delight.
