PAWS IN THE PARK, DASH & SPLASH @ 13 SEPTEMBER 2008

These are the training pools for
Dash & Splash

This is Sebastian's first attempt at Dash & Splash, where the main idea is to do a long jump into water. This is just the training pool and Sebbie was a little nervous of the water, what you can't see is that poor Sebbie fell in hence the above picture of him getting out as quick as possible and on his second attempt he was carried out.

We will be trying this again next year.
And this is how it should be done - Sebbie take note. This is Smudge who belongs to my friend Claire. Smudge is a hearing dog for the deaf and took to the water with far more confidence than Sebbie.

 

HAMPSHIRE COUNTRY SPORTSMANS SHOW @ SEPTEMBER 2008

Woody was awarded 1st place in the best dog in show and then won overall. The judges' husband who was judging elsewhere came over and told Tom that Woody was the best dog he had seen all day around the show ground. We are very proud of you Woody and I know that Tom and family are proud of you too. Congratulations to Tom, family and of course the lovely Woody - way to go !!
