We
represented the Field
Spaniel at Discover Dogs
in London on 13 November
2004, this was a particularly
important year for the
breed as The Kennel Club
had declared the Field
Spaniel a vulnerable breed,
due to the low number
of registrations throughout
the year.
We
took Freya, Darcey and
her puppy Sebastian who
enjoyed their day. I have
included a couple of pictures
of the day.

SWEDISH
TRIP, 6 - 9 AUGUST 2004
Nykoping,
Sweden
We
had been invited to attend
the above show and working
event, which we accepted
with pleasure, as it was
a great opportunity to
catch up with the friends
we had met earlier in
the year and also as we
had never visited Sweden
had the opportunity not
only to see some wonderful
countryside but also on
the Monday we were able
to visit
the capital city, Stockholm.
The
judge for the Saturday
dog show was none other
than Rosemary Sowton from
the Gamefell Kennel, duly
assisted with the writing
of the critiques which
is written on every dog
judged, by Pam Rowlands
from the Rhiwlas Kennel
here in the UK. The judging
of dogs in Sweden is totally
different from here in
the UK and both Ray and
I are still trying to
work out their system.
Below
are some of the pictures
we took at the show.

these lovely pictures

I
have since found
out that Malte
and Sebastian
are cousins.
Seb's mum is Rhiwlas
Witchcraft at
Lyndongraey and
Malte's dad is
Rhiwlas Shaman
who was exported
to Sweden and
living with Ingrid
at the
Fieldstar Kennel
